COVID-19 Safety Plan

To maintain the safety of all our students and staff, we have constructed a safety plan, following government guidelines.
Please read the following carefully before coming to tuition at Tutor World premises.​ Updated Jan 2022

Your Responsibility

  • Any student MUST NOT come to classes if they are displaying symptoms of or tested positive for Covid-19. (Symptoms include a new continuous cough, high temperature and loss of taste or smell - see NHS website for details).
  • Tuition sessions MUST​ be booked in advance, as we can only permit so many students in the building at any one time, and we reserve the right to turn away anyone not booked.
  • Parents MUST NOT enter the building or wait in the waiting area at any time, unless asked to do so. We will let students leave when there is a parent/guardian waiting outside.
  • ​NO cash payments - please use bank transfer or pay online (contact us for details).
  • We recommend secondary school students wear a face covering/ mask during their tuition sessions.

Our Responsibility

  • We will check the temperature of each student with a contactless thermometer before entering the building.
  • Hand sanitiser will be provided and should be used by students when entering and exiting the building and is available throughout the lesson.
  • There will be increased cleaning processes - all equipment, including tables and chairs, will be sanitised regularly.
  • Windows will be kept open for circulation of fresh air and doors left ajar to limit touching of door handles.
  • Where possible, students will not be sat directly next to another student they do not regularly have contact with.
  • Contact between students or between students and tutors will be limited as much as possible, included during breaks.
